After teaching several cooking camps Chef Theodore Leaf was asked by parents to create his very own. This year we are excited to offer a dynamic cooking camp full of fun and creativity. Campers will learn everything from proper knife skills to high wire tasks like creating emulsified sauces. Each day will also include a presentation from Chef Theodore’s network of farmers, butchers, and even a celebrity food stylist (hello Instagram) and more. So much work and passion has gone into making this concept a reality and we look forward to providing a premium camp experience and inspiring campers to take their cooking to new heights.
This Cooking Camp is for kids 12-16
We will be hosting two sessions at the bright and fun
Hedley & Bennett apron factory in Downtown Los Angeles.
Morning session 9AM-1PM
Afternoon Session 1:30PM-5:30PM
Each 4 hour hands-on class will focus on a different classic culinary technique.
Knife skills, stocks, salads & vinaigrette.
Proteins and sauces
Hand-made pasta: Gnocchi with brown butter sage sauce
On the final day the campers get to show off their skills by hosting a multi-course meal for the parents combining all of the skills they learned during the week.
This camp is $495 (Early Bird $449 before May 15th) and includes all food and a
